Administration manual

The user interface of JobRouter is completely web-based, i.e. access by users, administrators and process designers is via a web browser. All common browsers are supported. It is therefore not necessary to install components on the client.

Accessibility

JobRouter uses the current HTML 5 standard and semantically marks all elements on the website. The use of the application is optimized for screen readers. The operation of the functionalities relevant for an end user, such as registration, inboxes, step processing and the operation of the respective navigation elements is possible without restriction. Corresponding tags are available in the HTML to support the reading of the individual elements.

Tabulability

The JobRouter website is structured as a form. This makes it possible to navigate through the individual elements of the website using the tab key. In addition, there are dedicated key combinations for certain recurring actions, e.g. for sending steps.

Zoom functionality / scalability

As a website, the JobRouter software can be scaled as required using the built-in standard functionality of a web browser.

Use on mobile devices (tablets and cell phones)

The use of JobRouter on mobile devices is easily possible. JobRouter offers a mobile optimized website in particular for smartphones, in which the typical tasks of a user can be carried out. The JobRouter dialog designer also offers the option of creating special masks for mobile users in order to be able to display the information even better.

Platform independence

Since JobRouter is a website that can be accessed from the intranet, the software supports all common operating systems, provided they have an up-to-date browser. You can find an overview of all supported operating systems and browser versions in the installation manual.
