The JobFlowSend module is responsible for sending steps. This process is carried out at regular intervals (normally every 10 seconds). This can cause a delay after successful execution of a .NET system activity before it is sent. This delay is usually undesirable during a demonstration.
Enabling the Send directly setting in the JobServer configuration menu causes the .NET system activities to be sent immediately after they have been executed. Since this process contains additional requests to the JobRouter workflow engine, step processing can be slowed down on systems with a high workload.
Consequently, this setting is only suitable for demonstration purposes and lightly used systems with many .NET system activities (e.g. JobPDF, JobFerd, etc.).
