It is possible to define an escalation date for the entire instance or just for the activated step. Enter a date into the step_escalation_date field to set an escalation date for the activated step. If an escalation date was set previously, it will be overwritten.
The field incident_escalation_date is used to set an escalation date for the entire instance. Same as for the step, this escalation date will overwrite preciously set escalation dates.
