Process Designer

During form creation, there are various symbols available that can, for example, insert sections or rows, move and modify elements, etc. In addition, you can assign various properties such as Write-protected and Required field. These and other properties are displayed in your form editor as symbols. That way, you have a quick visual overview of the status of your form elements. You can directly alter that status by clicking on a symbol. The relevant information is displayed in the cursor context menu. The appearance of the symbol does not change.

The individual symbols are explained in the following table.

Click this symbol to add a new section, a new row, a new column, or a new element to your form.

Delete

Click this symbol to delete a page, a section, a row, or an element.

Move down

The down arrow moves a section, a row, or an element down.

Move up

The up arrow moves a section, a row, or an element up.

Edit

Click this symbol to enter the modify mode of the respective form part (for example, to modify a section, modify an element).

Hide

Affect whether the page, section, row, column, or element is hidden or shown in the form.

Move

Click the arrow to move a part of the form to another place. For example, move a section to another page, or move a row to another section.

Paste from clipboard

Click this symbol to add parts of a form you previously saved in the clipboard to the form. The clipboard is only available in the editor of the desktop view of a form.

Click to open up or close a section.

Move right

If you have arranged columns or pages next to each other in your form, use this symbol to move columns from left to right.

Element symbols

Disable / Enable

Click to enable or disable an element.

Required

This symbol indicates whether an element is required field.
