You can change the escalation times for your process as well as for the individual steps dynamically. The static time intervals will be overwritten. Dynamic escalation can thus postpone the end of a process or extend the processing deadline for a step.
Please note: The altered escalation time always applies to the next step. You define the new processing deadline for the next step from its preceding step (See the illustration Escalation scheme).
