You can assign the responsibility for processes to individual users or Job Functions. A process owner has access to the step and instance overview. He controls and manages instances and steps. You can assign different rights to a process owner. According to this rights he can take a variety of specific actions on instances and steps.
Select Manage process owners in the context menu to define the process owner for this process. You see the list of all process owners.
For each user or Job Function you can determine the rights. If a user is a member of a Job Function that has been defined as the process owner, the defined rights apply. If a user is assigned both personally and with a Job Function as process owner, the rights are assigned additively.
