Subtables & subtable views (JobTable Module)

Scroll Prev Top Next More

You can extend your forms in JobRouter Designer using subtables and subtable views. You can store additional data in the sub tables just as you do in the process table. By clicking on Subtable views the data in the forms will be displayed. For example, you can display the individual lines of an invoice or an order. Depending on the system configuration, workflow users may view, update, and even add data.

Subtables are inserted and stored as physical tables in the database. Unlike process tables, subtables can hold any number of records for each step.

You can define any number of views to display the subtable data. When you associate these views with corresponding forms, those forms can display a broad selection of subtable columns. Additionally, you can narrow down the view of the data using a dynamic filter. In this manner, you have full control over the subtable data display.
