The DocuWare module is an interface to the DocuWare document management system. Using both systems, you may create document-based processes or ones that generate documents.

JobRouter has numerous features resulting from the functional interaction of the two systems. One example is being able to incorporate the DocuWare WebClient into JobRouter so that DocuWare documents and result lists can be referenced directly from an Instance.

Additionally, the entire WebClient can be incorporated into JobRouter, allowing you to perform both process management and document management from within your application.

The JobDocuWare service is yet another interface through which a number of DocuWare actions can be performed (such as storing, copying, deleting, or tagging documents).

These actions can either be executed by a system activity (recommended) or in a special DocuWare rule.

Please note: Each time there is a task to process, the JobDocuWare service establishes a connection to DocuWare which allocates one client license. Thus we recommend making a named license available to the JobDocuWare user.
