Changes in Version 5.1
Create Factur-X invoices from PDF
The new function Extend PDF with ZUGFeRD 2.1/Factur-X is available now.
With the international standard Factur-X, it is possible to transfer electronical invoices into hybrid format.
Hybrid for electronical invoices means that two different forms of presentation are combined in one data record of a file. The invoice is displayed once as an image (here in the form of a PDF) and once as structured data, which are embedded in the PDF (here in the form of XML data). Thereby, the pictorial representation is readable for humans, whereas the XML data can be read and assessed mechanically.
With this new function it is now possible to extend existing PDF invoices with Factur-X-compliant meta data (XML).
