JobTimer

The JobTimer module allows process escalation, which means triggering one or more actions when a defined deadline has been reached. You can specify the expected overall process duration or the processing deadline for an individual step. You determine which or how many days of a week will be taken into account for escalation purposes within the configuration tools. A holiday calendar allows you to specify certain days to be ignored and treated like holidays (see chapter JobTimer).

Inside the JobRouter Designer, you can define actions to take place at a certain point of time. You can define actions such as causing an e-mail to be sent to the process owner (see the JobRouter workflow designer manual chapter Escalations). The JobTimer module  helps to assure that the process runs without delays.
