The User system activity allows you to add functions to manage users inside your JobRouter process. The following functionalities can be integrated.

Functions

Description

Create User

This feature allows you to add new users to JobRouter.

Modify User

Here the user data can be modified.

Deleting a user

Delete a JobRouter user.

Block User

This function allows you to block a JobRouter user.

Unblock User

This function allows you to unblock a JobRouter user.

Please note: With the Modify User function, entered roles are added to the user. Existing roles will be retained.

Example:

The user TestUser has the roles A, B. The new role C is added. After completion, the user TestUser has the roles A,B and C.

 

The following input parameters are available:

Input Parameters

Description

Username

Set a name for the user in JobRouter.

Last name

Enter the user's last name.

First name

Enter the user's first name.

E-mail

Enter the user's e-mail address.

Department

Enter the department in which the user works.

WinLogin

Enter the user's login for their workspace computer.

Telephone

Add the user's telephone number.

Fax

Enter the user's fax number.

Supervisor

Add the user's supervisor.

Language

Choose the language with which to address the user.

User-defined 1 – 5

Enter system-specific extensions of the user master data.

Password

Set a password for the user.

Create Password

Let a random password be created for the user.

New Workflow Step

Set if the user should be notified via e-mail about new steps.

Requests / Answers

Define, if the user shall receive notifications regarding requests and answers via e-mail.

Assignments

Determine, if the user shall receive notifications regarding assigned steps via e-mail.

Reference user

Transfer Job Functions and settings from an existing user to a different one.

Job Functions

Set which Job Functions the user is assigned to.

You can set the following output parameters.

Output parameters

Description

Return value

You receive a return message giving the status of your action (success, error).

You determine to where this message will be written.

The preview (See chapter The output parameters) displays an overview over possible error messages.

Error message

Specify where any error messages arising during the execution of the function should be saved.

Password

Specify where the user's password will be recorded.
