Send e-mail to a JobRouter user

You can set the following input parameters.

Input Parameters

Description

Sender

Enter the sender name.

Sender address

Add the sender's address.

Reply recipient name

Enter the name that will be used in the recipient line when answering to the sent mail.

Reply e-mail address

Enter the e-mail address that will be used as the recipient when answering to the sent mail.

Return receipt

Specify if the system activity shall wait until all related e-mail send jobs were processed. Thereby it is irrelevant if all e-mails were transferred smoothly to the e-mail server or if any errors occurred.

Successful dispatch required

If this option was activated, it will be considered if all tasks has been performed successfully or if any errors occurred.

Return receipt must be activated to ensure that this value is taken into account.

Summary

Give a subject line for the e-mail.

You can input the subject line in multiple languages.

The recipient sees the text in his language.

Using JobRouter variables is possible. They will be resolved in the context of the user when sent.

E-mail body

Compose the e-mail message.

Likewise, this text can be in multiple languages.

Using JobRouter variables is possible. They will be resolved in the context of the user when sent.

Username

Specify the e-mail recipient(s).

Job Function

Determine to which Job Function members your e-mail should be sent.

Attachment

Add one or more attachments.

Please note: You cannot use templates of the type Word template from a process configuration as an attachment.

Header

Additional header can be defined here. The syntax is the following: Headername=Value

Please note: The e-mail is not sent to the substitutes of the given recipient (JobSub module).

The following output parameters are available:

Description

Return value

You receive a return message giving the status of your action (success, error).

You determine to where this message will be written.

The preview (See chapter The output parameters) displays an overview over possible error messages.

Error message

Specify where any error messages arising during the execution of the function should be saved.
